Friday came quick thanks to that long weekend last weekend! And it is making me look like this today —> 🙂
Since I woke up this morning feeling refreshed (not sick! yay!) I headed down to the gym and got my workout on.
My workout today included upper body strength training and core. With this, I included the dreaded burpees. I dont really like burpees but they burn so good so I sometimes force myself to do them. I then hopped on the elliptical for about 20 minutes. I opted for a more difficult level of resistance with no incline today.
I must say I got quite sweaty during my workout this morning! SPEAKING OF WHICH (please do not be offended by the following…)
I heard this morning (and read) that Ben & Jerry’s is coming out with a new ice cream flavor that they are calling “Scheweddy Balls.” Dont be offended because seriously it’s a true story, can’t make this kind of stuff up people! It will be vanilla ice cream with chocolate covered rum and malt… balls.

Now that I got that important news out of the way, I decided I would plan ahead this time and head to Starbucks. Since my Starbucks is always extra busy on Friday I missed out last week so I left a little early today to get my coffee fix! For some reason I was feeling like a hot one instead of my usual iced. It isnt quite as delicious tasting I must admit… but still good of course! At least now maybe I will sup on it rather than sucking it down in 5 minutes!
A bacon, egg, and gouda sandwich accompanied my coffee today too!
Yum!!! Now for a busy day of work! Yippee!!
It is supposed to be a nice weekend! I am heading to the Wake Forrest & NC State Football game tomorrow. I have never been to a college football game (only NFL). Crazy I know, so I am super excited and everyone says the stadium here is really nice too!
