Having a chair massage at 1:00 during my workday (on a Monday) was fabulous!! It was such a nice little break, definitely greatly appreciated by all of us at the office!
Right after that I headed home to take Kona on a walk and make some lunch. It was actually pretty hot outside today still!
For lunch I made a wrap with some garlic hummus, turkey, cheddar, spinach, and tomatoes.
I also enjoyed one of these…. I dont know why but it has been a while since I’ve had an orange!!
It was perfect and juicy and I forgot how good they were!
After work I headed home and changed to head right to the gym before I got lazy and started laying around. My workout tonight consisted of:
- 2 sets of 25 triceps pull downs on the cable machine
- 2 sets of 25 bicep curls on cable machine
- 2 sets of 25 lat pull downs
- 2 sets of 25 stationary row
- 2 sets of 25 squats
- Burpees (ugh)
- 25 minutes running
I listened to some good tunes tonight which always helps to make my workout extra good – during my run, I even listened to my throwback playlist!
After my workout I was thinking a little about some different strength moves and decided I really do need to quit procrastinating with going to the store as I still need to get the following things since I will be using the apartment gym. The list is growing… I dont really know why I have been putting this off I’ve just making makin do but it needs to happen soon!
- New heart rate monitor
- New running shoes
- An exercise mat
Since I dont have a mat, I bring a full-sized towel down to the gym with me to use as some cushion on the hard floor, luckily there is no one ever there to laugh at me.
When I got back from the gym I was ready for some dinner, even though I wasnt feeling that hungry, or at least not hungry enough to cook a full meal for just myself. Since Torrance was at a work meeting tonight (where they feed him, probably something good!) I just made myself some poached eggs on an english muffin. Even with some orange juice on the side (vitamin C overdose? nah… I might turn orange though)
Now its time for a Kona walk and a little relaxation!
