Monday Mini Massage

Morning all you Monday campers! Haha, I feel like if I am overly enthusiastic it will make Monday better for everyone! 😉

Incase you were out of the blogging loop this weekend here’s what you missed here:

I slept in a little today because I tossed and turned a lot yesterday but I woke up a little excited (I know, crazy on a Monday morning…) because we had a good month at work last month so my boss paid for a masseuse friend of his to come in with their massage chair and give us all a 20 minute neck massage this afternoon! I am actually very excited about this!

I need to get a good workout in today since I have been somewhat slackin, but Torrance has a late work meeting today so I plan to get in a good one tonight after work!

And you better bet I headed to Starbucks this morning! I had to replenish my Via supply and since I was there I got a yummy Americano.

Oh, and I made this little baby for breakfast!

So satisfying!

I heard this morning too that we may see a jump in price for peanut related products due to the fires in Texas wiping out so much of the peanut farms. So stock up on your peanut butter! 😉

I have to say, this weekend didnt feel very fall-ish because it was so hot and I was able to get a lot of sun! I’m not complaining because it is coming but it feels good to have a little extra summer! especially since we spent the whole beginning of summer moving. But I would say it was worth it.

I also love that it is a gorgeous day out and am happy that I sit facing out a window at work!

It does make a good difference in my work-space I must say!

Are you excited about anything going on this week?

Do you have windows in your workspace?

In my old office back in Alaska we had huge windows at the front of the office but I worked way in the back so I didnt really get to enjoy them!

Thankfully, I’m still in school so I get to pick where I do most of my studying. Needless to say, places with windows are usually my #1 picks 😉

    • Yeah that is nice!! I always see people at Starbucks studying and various places and think how nice it is to just find somewhere to plop down and study! When I was still doing school I had to like lock myself somewhere because I always got so distracted!

Thank GAWD I have a a HUGE window right next to my desk… I think I would go insane without it!

Wait… a peanut shortage??? Oh, I will be SURE to stock up. I hadn’t heard about those fires… sounds very, very sad. I’m sure it was very devastating for many farmers 😦

This week my goal is to finalize and PLAN our vacation. The only hold up is ME and my crazy indecisiveness. I mean.. there are hundreds of Caribbean islands, and they are all different. It will be my first time going and our first big trip together so I want it to be awesome 😀 Other than that my week is pretty free. I LOVE having zero obligations besides work.. and the gym 🙂

How was your neck massage!? What a nice gesture from your boss! 🙂

    • OOo vacation, how fun! I am jealous!!
Oh and I think it is ok about being indecisive – I mean when it comes to vacations now and the cost of them you really have to think about it and make it worth while!! The caribbean is my favorite destination though! I absolutely loved Jamaica and also St Kitts was great too. Depending on what type of stuff you guys want to do I guess will help decide where you go! I always love to be out on the water (even though I am terrified of the ocean creatures, but getting better haha)
Did you check out the link to my parents resort in Belize? Heres the link if you want to check it out, Its a little different since its a smaller cozier place rather than a big lavish resort but they have a catamaran and a lot of local guides and they will set up a lot of the tours and stuff if you are interested. They have a ton of good reviews on TripAdvisor and stuff too! Last time we went down there we ended up just being lazy on the beach most of the time! But the reef is just like 30 minutes away and so amazing, we went out on the catamaran and picniced on one of the tiny islands all day. (They have super good pics on their website of rooms, food, everything) and my dad is an AMAZING chef! Might be worth checking out, I would def go back 😉 even if it wasnt my parents!!! haha

I’m actually making a big move in SIX days! I’m so nervous making this change. I’ve been born and raised in Florida and I’m moving to Rhode Island. I’m nervous but so excited! 🙂

    • Wow Sara!! That will be quite the change! I have never been Rhode Island but I can imagine it is going to be quite the change from FL! Are you excited about the move? I am excited to haer about it, new adventures are always good! And trust me I was terrified! but after stressing about it for a little while I finally sat back and went with the flow a little more and things seemed to be a little smoother after that!
