Rained Out

Hola!

We arrived in Clearwater at around 4 pm on Saturday and were greeted with high winds. His mom’s fishing tournament had been canceled earlier in the day due to the windy conditions as well, so it ended up being a super lazy day for everyone.

We did get to go over the Skyline Bridge though.

The pictures just don’t do it justice. It’s really tall (and windy!) from the top but actually pretty dang cool.

Saturday pretty much consisted of just checking out the area and walking around the rainy beach.

There is just something about the beach and sand, even if it is raining.

Sunday we woke up to more rain so we headed back to Tampa and just enjoyed some football and pizza! Tampa lost to San Francisco miserably and everyone was sad. I had enough wine that I just didn’t really care 😉

And on this fine Monday morning? More rain! I told ya it always rained when I came here. Needless to say, no Busch Gardens. But the good news is Torrances mom is getting off work early so we can hang out a little longer before we head back to North Carolina tomorrow.

I’m not too sure what we have planned for tonight but I’m sure it will involve good food and some drinks!

Lovely pictures! Bridges kinda freak me out, esp when it’s windy.

Wine, pizza, the beach (even if it was rainy), good company!? All sounds great to me! I hope you had a blast 😀
