Swimming Deer and A Day Of Good Eats
Morning, happy Friday! Kidding. If only it were, right?
I dont know if you all have seen this as it is originally from last year, but I somehow just came across it and thought it was a pretty cool story.
A man was out on his fishing boat off the coast of Alaska and saw four deer swimming toward him and obviously looking for help, so he let them up into his boat and brought them back to shore and the deer seemed pretty thankful to get relieved from the icy water.

Pretty cute huh? They look so peaceful and nice. And to think… I was scared of a deer.
I finally had a lunch worth taking a picture of yesterday! (As in, not cheese and crackers, or a sammich).
In the mix is some romaine, tomato, cucumber, mozzarella cheese, pepper, Newman’s own oil and vinegar, sliced turkey, and pita chips!
I didnt go to training last night, but I plan to go tonight and tomorrow night . I did bring Kona on a long walk last night though which was nice since it was a little warmer than usual. I also managed to get some stuff done around the house and make a delicious dinner!
I cooked up some cod (using my “quick fish” way), half of a baked potato topped with a little cheese, steamed green beans, and a pea/sweet onion mix. Torrance is a fan of the pea/onion mix, they are just so-so for me, but the veggie selection in the house seems limited for some reason.
And for breakfast today I am enjoying some frozen strawberries and an egg, cheese, and turkey sandwich.
Still no egg n jelly! I havent been craving the sweet and savory mixture lately. I’m sure it will make its way back into my menu shortly though 🙂
