December Recap

I hope everyone is having a great afternoon, it sounds like a lot of people are back to work today after the break (like myself!)

I must say I am having quite the productive day back, I have gotten a lot done on the work front, along with running some errands at lunch, paying bills, and doing dishes at lunch. Look at me go!

3 cups of coffee may be partially to thank.

One thing I can say for sure is that I definitely do not have a green thumb. I have 2 plants in my office (that someone else put there). I am horrible at taking care of plants, any of my friends could tell you this.

Look at that sad, wilty sap! ^^

I have made it my goal this week to pay attention to them and nurse them back to health. Why not add another goal onto my resolutions list? Kidding, if they dont come back to life this week I will slyly put them on someone else’s desk.

Ha! Your problem now sucka!

Anyway there was a point to this random 2nd post of mine today. As I promised in my usual post this morning, here is the blog summary/recap of some notable posts in December!

  • Anything notable from the  month of December for you?
I stuffed my face with lots o’ food at the holidays of course!
  • Are you being productive today?

Awesome start to the new year Andrea!! I have a bunch of friends that were VERY successful with the Couch to 5k program and they all still run! (Except for the one that is pregnant I think) Anyway, I am looking forward to hearing all about your new running adventures. (as I am obsessed with anything and anything running haha). Running is the best 😀

Andrew is awesome with plants. He has a very very green thumb. I, on the other hand, have a rotting, black thumb when it comes to plants. I have a dying Bonsai tree on my desk right now 😦 I did’t think it was possible to kill a Bonsai because they need such little care!

  2. I can see from the picture of your plant that we have the same ‘faux wood’ finished desks! Haha! 🙂

We had the same thing in my old office… I sense a theme!

  3. Jen Lancaster is seriously my idol; if I could be brought back to life as anyone it would most definitely be her.

  6. Hi there! Saw your comment on Hungry Runner Girl’s blog and figured we were kindred spirits, considering our blog names!

The Couch to 5k program is awesome! I was never a runner but I started the program on 4/12/11 and ran my first 5k on 5/30/11! I ran a total of 5 5ks last year and am now training for my first 10k. I never thought it was possible but I am now addicted to running.

    Good luck!

    • Love it!! We must be kindred spirits!
That is great to hear your success with the program, I really hope it will help me ease into running nicely and gives me a goal to work toward!
