Sun Butter & Madonna
Monday….we meet again. I absolutely did not want to get out of bed this morning, I laid there until the last possible moment. Horrible I know.
But hey, I managed to stay awake through the whole Super Bowl yesterday, so that’s a plus! Oh, and I know people have been dissin’ on it, but I thought Madonna’s halftime show was awesome! I cant say that I’m really a fan of her new song, but the show itself was good and put together well. One of the better half time shows in a while in my opinion.
We ordered pizza from a local place last night knowing Dominos and all those places would be swamped, and Torrance’s aunt actually called it in 4 hours ahead of time and said we would be there at 6 to pick it up. When we went to get it at 6 we were in and out since we called it in and it was ready…. but there were about 15 people standing in there waiting who apparently just placed orders. I dont know what they were thinking.
Anyway, I am happy for the new week to get back to some good eating – last week was filled with cake, steak, drinks, and pizza! So I kicked the morning off right with an egg sandwich and some frozen raspberries.
I forgot to tell you guys yesterday my other grocery store find from this weekend along with the Chobani.
I bought some Sun Butter.
I have been wanting to try it, and figured it would be the perfect opportunity because they were out of my almond butter!
The verdict on this one? It’s okay. I do like it actually, but I think I just prefer almond butter. The sun butter was a little too oily/runny for me and it had a little hint of a strange taste to me – I cant quite decide what it is. I still like it and have been eating it a little though 🙂 All the important delicious characteristics of nut butter are still there!
I’m off to work, and training will most definitely be happening tonight – I need it. I’m still feeling a little sluggish from all that food I ate last week!
