Kinda Like Alphabet Soup

Moooorning!

Since I have been so busy and havent had time to gather my thoughts (or pictures of my delicious food!) I figured now would be the perfect opportunity to do a fun little survey that I have seen floating around the blogging community.

——————————–

A is for age: 24! Remember, I ate a lot of cake Winking smile

B is for breakfast today: Almond butter and banana sandwich!

san

C is for currently craving: I have so strangely been craving a chicken pot pie. It has been years since I’ve had one I think… I saw a commercial the other day that had one on it and since then it’s been on my mind.

D is for dinner tonight: No idea. Depends if everyone decides we want to go out to dinner or not. If not I will either be making taco salads, burgers, or shrimp stirfry with rice noodles.

E is for favorite type of exercise: Flying.

fly

Psych! I used to be a cardio junky, but strength training is definitely winning over my heart since I have started my training program.

F is for an irrational fear: Bees. I hate them and I’m terrified of them. And I’m not even allergic to them…go figure. And even more irrational – getting my blood pressure taken. I cant even explain that one but I almost always faint. I hate the squeezing.

G is for gross food: Oysters.

I’m sorry, but not appetizing. Ew.

H is for hometown: North Pole, Alaska.

np

I is for something important: Relationships – friends, family, and even the brown dog kind.

J is for current favorite jam: Well… in the delicious fruity variety I prefer strawberry. In the musical variety, I’m diggin’ my oldschool playlist at the moment Winking smile

K is for kids: No thank you.

L is for current location: Winston Salem, North Carolina in my apartment sitting on my lovely couch.

M is for the most recent way you spent money: I shelled out some money for the electric bill. Super exciting stuff, I know.

N is for something you need: I need a kitchen table. I want a new wardrobe…. and a maid.

O is for occupation: Insurance sales.

P is for pet peeve: Ignorance. Too general? Okay fine… I cant stand when some people leave candy wrappers laying around… you know who you are [Torrance].

Q is for a quote: “Don’t worry about the world coming to an end today; it’s already tomorrow in Australia.”

R is for random fact about you: I can touch the very tip of my nose and bottom of my chin with my tongue. Yes, it is very attractive.

S is for favorite healthy snack: Currently – Apple Cinnamon Chobani. Or grapes.

camera 263

T is for favorite treat: CAKE. Ice cream cake if you are planning on bringing me some right now want to get specific.

U is for something that makes you unique: Hmmm tough one. It is somewhat unique [nowadays] that I am only 2nd generation American. Both of my grandparents (from my mom and dads sides) came over from Italy in the 30’s. I can also change my own oil and car battery, and flat tire (though I would most likely just make Torrance do it Winking smile ) which seems to surprise people. I thank a year of auto class in high school for that.

V is for favorite vegetable: Broccoli and green beans!!!

W is for today’s workout: Mostly likely nothing! Wah!

X is for X-rays you’ve had: Only a few times on my hand when I broke it in 7th grade (playing lag football) and had to get pins in my pinky and wear a cast all the way over my elbow (stupid!)

Y is for yesterday’s highlight: Relaxing night with Torrance and his mom.

Z is for your time zone: Eastern!

————————————

I’m off to sit in a class all day for work. I loaded up my purse with snacks, so I’m ready to roll!

  3. F- What is one of your irrational Fears? Extreme quiet… I got used to living in the city. I get really creeped out. It even gets too quiet in our corner of Denver.
O- What is your Occupation? Teacher — temporarily Accounts Payable Clerk. Haha.
U – tell me something Unique about yourself? I have perfect pitch. Weird, huh?

  4. Irrational Fear – currently? Being stuck with a house in Ohio and being homeless in Georgia haha. But I just gotta keep praying through it! 😉
Occupation – currently a house wife living in a hotel with nothing to do but work out and go look at houses. 😉 But normally? School psychologist. 🙂
Unique – I like keeping a monthly budget and balancing our checkbooks … that’s kind of weird and unique, right?

  5. I am scared to death of poisin ivy. I am pretty allergic and therefore won’t go near anything green and leafy. Even if its clearly like an oak leaf or weed, I won’t chance it!
my occupation is a stay at home mom for now while my babies are little. I have the rest of my life to work outside the home, but they will only be little once!

  6. Irrational Fear – Aliens; I seriously believe in them. You have to when you live in Phoenix that has the highest rate of sightings! I think I’ve also had way too many abduction dreams for my own good.
Occupation – Currently I’m a student, but after I graduate I will (hopefully) be a hospice social worker, which is what my internship is now.
Unique – I really enjoy cleaning; it’s probably just my OCD, but it benefits my husband!

  9. First things first – I love your answer for K – that’s my answer too!!!
It’s not really irrational, but I’m always worried I’m going to fall off the back of my zumba stage during class, ha.
I’m a middle school language arts teacher, varsity cheerleading coach, fitness instructor (zumba, hip hop, abs, etc), and personal trainer.
You’re answer for unique is the same as your answer for random – the crazy long tongue thing! We’re birds of a feather!

    March 15, 2012
    • We are!!! thats so crazy and hilarious about your tongue!! I love that your answer for K is the same haha 🙂

      March 15, 2012
