April Fools’ & March Recap
Did everyone have an awesome weekend?
Any good April Fools’ pranks out there? I have sort of given up on them – everyone expects it now.
The absolute best (or really, maybe it is the worst?) April Fools’ prank I have heard of was a few years ago, Torrance’s dad and some of his friends played a super bad trick on one of their coworkers. They placed all of his stuff in the paper for sale in the newspaper classifieds – both his cars, two snowmobiles, two 4-wheelers, his motor home, and his boat for super good deals. With his name and phone number of course. He got phone calls all day long. How completely annoying would that be?
This weekend was pretty busy.
Yesterday we took a little break though and headed out to the motocross track so Torrance could do some riding.
I, of course, just brought my book, iPod radio, and relaxed in the sun. Before some clouds rolled in later in the afternoon.
The track that we went to (which Torrance has gone to multiple times, but I rarely go) is actually about 35 minutes away – WAY out in the country. I mean really, truly country.
After a few hours out there we got home just in time for dinner, which wasn’t anything too exciting – just some soup and sandwiches.
Time for the March Recap Linkup! Always a nice summary of the best posts if you missed some throughout the month!
We started out the month with talking about condiment expiration dates and how often you should clean out your fridge.
We talked about old songs we forgot we had on our iPod (Oh Aqua… the memories)
I confessed to you guys some things that I will probably never, ever be – one of those things was a blonde…(scary)
I did my ABC’s….in informative blogger form of course 🙂
I almost pulled a bra out of my purse at a work training event in front of a bunch of strangers… and also shared one of my other wonderful awkward foot-in-mouth moments with you guys.
I shared some tips on making your at-home nail polish job last almost a week.
I also shared my weekday breakfast staples and how to make them and bring them on the run.
I shared my shameful trip to Target – the one where I went for 2 things and came out with 20 (that always happens!), but hey, I also discovered they have some good workout gear there!
Have a great Monday!
- Any good April Fools’ pranks? this year or in the past?
- Favorite March memory?
- Just for fun – Growing up (or now) did you/do you “ride” anything? (ATVs, dirtbikes, snowmachines (snowmobiles), jet skiis, etc)
I grew up riding 4wheelers and the last few years in Alaska I had a jet ski, other than that not really – Torrance has always grown up riding something. He started racing snowmachines when he was 4!
