Lazy Sunday Festivities

Just popping in for a quick Sunday “ello!”

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

When I left work on Friday I felt some serious sweet relief that the end of the hell week was officially over…. that is until 9:30 Friday night.

Ms. Kona-pain-in-the-ass-but-really-cute Brown Dog was acting pretty weird Wednesday night and Thursday all day and night (she woke me up to go to the bathroom 3 times Thurs night which isnt like her, at all). Anyway, I’ll spare you the details, but I had reason to believe she had something going on along the lines of a Urinary Tract Infection (dogs get those, I had to look it up).

So, by Friday night she was acting pretty down and like she was in pain – so to the emergency vet we went!

2 1/2 hours later (it was almost like a human ER – lots of waiting) she got some antibiotics and we were set to go.

Anyway, Saturday was a new day and we all slept in so we could catch up on much needed Z’s…ya know, so we wouldn’t all want to kill each other all weekend long.

We spent most of yesterday getting the usual house stuff caught up and in order (since we were gone last weekend). I even did the annoying cleaning stuff that I rarely do (like dust the blinds, and the ceiling fans… b-o-r-i-n-g).

But luckily, we had some time (and sun) left once afternoon hit and we got to spend some time at the pool before heading to Panera for dinner.

The Strawberry Poppy Seed salad is back for summer! Seriously – most delicious salad ever – and probably the only salad I enjoy that doesn’t have cheese on it (which is usually a must for me).

So today will be spent getting some more stuff done – including heading to the mall to a bridal shop for Torrance to get fitted for a tux for an upcoming wedding he will be in.

Later on I foresee some grilling and possible pool time, a Tone It Up workout (I have been wanting to try the Sunkissed Abs workout) and I may also be dropping into a Pampered Chef later in the afternoon if there’s time.

Have a great Sunday!

  • If you eat at Panera, what is your favorite thing there?
  • Do you ever sleep in on the weekends in attempt to catch up on Z’s?

  1. I’m a big Panera fan. I haven’t eaten there recently, though, because I think I was eating there SO much that I needed a break. 😉 I love all of their Panini sandwiches. I also really like their Asian Chicken Salad, their chicken and wild rice soup, their bagels, etc etc! 🙂

  4. I’ve got a Q for you lady, regarding Sunkissed Abs. How do you like it?? Is it working? Do you see any changes already with your tummy? I think, I am going to give it a try.

Naps on the couch are amazing, I so needed on on Sunday. Priceless!

    • I only did the workout the one day but I REALLY liked it and felt it. I haven’t done it continuously and basically have been using the Tone it up workouts as sort of “fillers” on days I dont do my training or just want a workout at home so it’s hard to say progress directly from that but I do enjoy them AND feel them after so that has got to mean something right? 🙂 I also liked the. “Beach abs” workout too! It’s a good one!

      • Thanks Andrea! I will checkout beach abs as well. Have a good rest of the day.
