I Dislike Shopping & Return Of The Bento Box
I hope everyone’s weekend was exciting and full of fun!
Mine was pretty mellow. For some reason, I was super lazy feeling this weekend… I have a feeling it has to do with the weather starting to cool down. Rainy Sundays are kind of nice.
I did get one thing accomplished at least.
I have been dreading this somewhat because I hate shopping lately. It was pretty much as bad as I thought it was going to be too because I had no idea what I wanted. Since our hallway is away from the rest of the house I didn’t have a specific color scheme or theme that I wanted, other than I wanted something colorful and that I wanted a vase or two.
Well 40 minutes wondering around Pier 1 I finally just started picking stuff out. Which I told myself I wasn’t going to buy anything at Pier 1 since it is expensive and I much prefer to shop across the street at Pier 1’s younger, cheaper, sister – World Market Cost Plus.
Buuuuut, after 40 minutes, I had too much time invested at Pier 1 and I decided just to go for it because I wanted to be done and out of there, and desperately wanted to be out of shopping mode.
At least when I got home I was definitely happy with my choice.
Though if they didn’t give me so many damn options I would probably be able to get in and out of there faster! Haha.
I’ve decided I just really prefer online shopping.
Anyway, off to work!
I got my lunch packed up and ready to go today – return of the Bento Box!
Tuna, wheat thins, an orange, and grapes.
And since I was too lazy to cut up stuff to make a little salad to get some veggies in, I squeezed some in with breakfast instead.
In the mix:
- 1 banana
- 4 oz strawberry banana Greek yogurt (Chobani)
- handful of spinach
- 2 scoops protein powder (Visalus mix)
- all blended together with almond milk
Alright, off to work! And then off to training tonight!
- Shopping: Love it or hate it?
I always love the idea of it, and I like to buy new things, but the whole shopping process is what I’m not a fan of!
