….My parents left (this morning). Not sure when I will see them next! Hopefully next summer. (And hopefully in Belize next time!)

…..I am back to routine.

…..I officially feel like it’s the end of summer. Maybe because all my “plans” are done – done with the summer traveling, and people visiting, etc. (PS – I am 120% okay with this).

…..I am going to go to bed early because I need to catch up on sleep. Bad.

…..I am going to drink a shitload of water. My wine to water ratio has been like 30 to 1. (After I was just talking about how awesome I was doing drinking a consistent 120 oz of water per day)

…..I had one of those mornings where nothing in my closet seemed appealing.

…..I am looking forward to working out tonight. I went to training Monday morning (since I had the day off to hang out with my parents). He does a group at 9 which I have never gone to before since I have to be at work at 9 usuaslly and there are a lot less people than at night when I go, but I could tell I am not a morning workout person. It wasnt even that early and I woke up a few hours before I even went and I felt out of it! I’m a wuss.

…..I drank my coffee with pumpkin spice creamer. I dont usually like pumpkin in my coffee but a coworker picked it up and I tested it out and it is delicious.

…..I know it’s weird to think about dinner now, but I think I want to make burgers for dinner.

…..I am thinking about how jealous I am that Torrance gets the iPhone 5 before me. It should be coming in the mail any day hopefully. I have to wait for the other upgrade to go through.


  • Per your schedule, when do you work out – in the morning or evening? Which do you prefer to do if you had the choice?
  • Do you ever have days where all your clothes seem boring, or is that just me?
  • When, during the day, do you start thinking about your dinner plans? Please tell me I am not the only one thinking about dinner at breakfast time 🙂

  1. I workout in the morning. I love knowing that it is done and my day won’t get in the way. I DON’T love the alarm clock.
    All of my clothes are boring period. Maybe not my shoes. But I work from home so there is no need to get dolled up for the dogs.
    And yes, I too start thinking about dinner at breakfast. Either because I need to ration out my calories for the day or I have to defrost something for dinner.

    • that is the best thing about morning workouts I agree though, it is out of the way and nothing can “come up” to ruin it later!

    I think about dinner all day it feels like. Sometimes I think about it the day before. I think its just b/c I’m a planner. If I dont though, I def think about it at breakfast time so you are def NOT alone! 😉

  3. Lol. I’ve wondered about dinner at least 5 times already this morning!! I like to workout around 10AM… totally not normal. Lol.

  4. I’m a 5am workout girl, I would love to do it any other time of day, but with 3 kids, early morning is the only time I can be consistent. I plan dinners a week in advance, so I always know what we’re having 🙂

  5. I used to be ALL about the post-workday workout, and loved it. However, since my schedule has shifted a bit and classes are at night, I’m now working out at the most random times. 8am, noon, maybe 8:15…. whenever I can!!

    And I start my dinner plans maybe the night before. Or the weekend before. I LOVE planning my meals, it brings me joy no matter WHEN I start!!

  6. During the school year, I workout in the afternoon. I would much prefer to workout in the mornings, but I just can’t bring myself to get out of bed at 5!

  7. Still trying (and failing) to make morning exercise a habit. I’m just not a morning person. I like my sleep! And pretty much every day I have issues with clothes….not because I’m bored. More like because I feel fat in everything!! Can’t wait until I can finally start feeling comfortable in my clothes again.
