Wind & Medicine-Ball-On-A-Rope
The weather has been a little crazy out there huh?
Well, if you’re on the east coast that is.
I know people get sick of hearing about the weather, especially on blogs…. but I don’t really care because I think it’s a big deal. I mean a storm smashing into the most populated part of the country and millions without power – that is pretty intense stuff.
Thankfully where we are, we are just on the very outskirts of the storm and just getting some wind. It’s crazy wind, but not the type where it will be uprooting ay trees, so we will be okay.
And enough where I bundle up every time I go outside and just enough where brown dog doesn’t dilly-dally (<—-do people still say that?) while out there either.
Anyway, I’m thinking about all the people up north (and on the NC coast and in the mountains) effected by the storm and hope everyone is okay!
But back to the normal stuff.
Between craziness at my work, changes going on at Torrance’s work (good changes!), the holidays on the way, and unfortunately dealing with an ill family member (more on that another time…) life has been crazy as usual, and I have acquired quite the fall-time cold.
I am sad because I forget what food tastes like because my nose is so stuffed up. The good news is though, because of sneezing 100 times a day, I think my abs are looking better.
And speaking of abs, I have been going to training still like crazy – don’t you worry. And lately, it has been extra amazing!
I know I havent been sharing many details about it, but that will soon return.
Can I just tell you about a crazy move we did last week? I had too look up a video on YouTube because it’s hard to explain. And I ‘m happy I was able to find one using the description “swinging around medicine ball on a rope.” How’s that for some technical fitness terminology?
Yes, that is no joke and is somewhat dangerous. One poor girl messed up the ‘dismount’ and got her shins real bad!
I hope everyone up north on the east coast is safe!
- Tell me something exciting you have been up to lately – catch me up!
- Are you or any of your family members effected by ‘Sandy?’
- Ever done any workouts with a “medicine ball on a rope?”
We did another crazy wall-sit type thing where you swing the medicine ball back and forth bouncing it off the wall on both sides.
