DAMN there is just something refreshing about a new year, isn’t there?
You guys know I’m a sucker for some fresh, new year goals.
Last year I set three pretty good sized goals. I decided this year to take a different approach and come up with a few more smaller goals to go about. I mean, go big or go home, right?
Lose 15 lbs.
I would love to see 140 on the scale. Very doable. And yeah, it is true I don’t necessarily think the number on the scale is the most accurate (I have talked about this… a lot), however at this point I am realizing it is just a really good tool to track progress and I want to take advantage of that.
I would say I’m really going to shoot for 70-80% of the time. There are certain things Im not willing to part with completely (CHEESE!… and wine) so Im really going to work on this where I can.
Expand my wardrobe.
Like I said, kind of a continuation of last year. But hey, I signed up for Stitch Fix, so that’s a start (first Fix will be here tomorrow!)
Have more sex.
(Oh, sorry family that is reading this). But I mean….why not?
Last year my blogging was very spotty, I just really want to keep up with it more because it is something I enjoy! That being said, I decided to go into the new year taking a little bit different approach about it. Don’t worry, nothing too crazy. I just realized I was putting too much pressure on myself to really post when I had some good, long substance for you guys – and I don’t think that is always necessary.
Take more pictures.
I am so horrible about this. Once I am out doing stuff I tend to concentrate on what I’m doing (which isn’t really a bad thing) and forget to take pictures to capture the memories.
52 week savings challenge.
I’ve just seen this floating around the last few years and thought it looked fairly simple and fun. I figured I’d give it a whirl on top of our normal savings plan. I think it’s a cool concept. Basically every week you put away the equivalent dollar amount to the week # of the year it is (week 1 = $1, $2 on week 2, $3 on week 3, etc).
